Personally I’d say no, unless they’re in a dedicated AI thread.

One of the great things about the OCC forums is how real they are, if threads start to get filled up with AI pictures it’ll lose what makes it great. Anyone can put in an AI prompt to get a picture to suit their particular like, but it will never make up for a real photo.

Take pretty much every video site now, there’s barely any truly amateur content anymore. It’s all scripted and professionally filmed. There’s nothing amateur about it. It’s lost what made it real. Same with AI.

I can get behind this tbh.

My main point was going to be that although it is understandable, I do believe this will deter people from posting. I believe that specific photo and others like it were pulled from sites like deviantart. I don't think any user purposefully uses AI to gain recognition in this forum.
