Wives are so odd!

None of these stories come as any surprise to me. I've posted on here before about my ex. For instance she once bought a mini skirt, in which she looked bloody fantastic I might add. (See photo.) But when some friends asked her to wear it for a car show we'd been invited to, she absolutely refused.

On another occasion when we went shopping, as soon as we got in the supermarket, she freaked out and wanted to go home because she thought everyone was looking at her. Yet all she'd done was wear a slightly shorter dress than normal - not even a mini!

Yet take her to a naturist event and she'd strip off the minute we arrived, walk round all day, chatting to anybody, etc, and be the last person to get dressed at the end.

Women are indeed funny things! But they don't always make you laugh.

Women, in general, have much more developed social/emotional awareness than us dudes.

I'll give you an example. Earlier this year my wife and I were on vacation; and we visited an "unofficial" nude beach. When we got there, there were more people in bathing suits than nudes. I got naked anyway. Personally, as long as nudity is accepted or expected, I'm going to get naked and don't really care whether "the textiles" are ok with it. "They should have known what to expect" is my personal philosophy.
My wife, on the other hand, does care. She does not want to shock "the textiles" or be considered immodest. So she did not get naked.

The first time my wife went to a nudist resort, she was determined to avoid being openly naked. As we crossed the pool area, me naked and her tightly wrapped in her towel, we came across a smoking couple and bummed a cig off of them (we've quit smoking since). The woman, completely naked, started talking to us (more so my wife). And without missing a beat my wife tossed her towel to the side, facing the woman completely naked to interact with her.
It wasn't that she was ready to be naked in front of everyone, it was that she felt it was more socially/emotionally appropriate to not "hide" from a friendly person who wasn't hiding anything from her.

So it makes sense that the same woman who will avoid wearing a revealing dress in an environment where she feels it's socially "inappropriate" will also have no problem striking conversations completely naked with strangers at a nude/nudist venue. As baffling as it may seem to us dudes.

That's my theory anyway and I'm sticking to it.

Since the time I met her, we have been married. Last summer, my wife went to a clothing-optional resort. We got there, and it was a very beautiful resort. It was a compound encircled by a huge wall with a beautiful swimming pool. See the picture of the place in this post. When we got there, we saw probably 25 people in various states of dress. Some were completely naked, some were topless, and some were in skimpy bikinis.

She and I set up at a couple of lounge chairs. My wife left her bikini on and wouldn’t budge when I suggested she remove her top. Go figure.

Thank you for your input. That was nice of you. It is hard for me to imagine another woman intimidating my wife. She is in a very powerful position in her career. She knows she is extremely hot. I tell her more than once per day how extremely beautiful she is. So I'm sure she knows she is a very attractive woman. But a creepy guy? Well, maybe so, but I didn't see it. I didn't ask her why, nor did I give her a hard time about it. I just accepted it and went on.☺ The next time we went to that place, not only did she go topless, but she also got completely naked. It was very exciting for me. I loved seeing her completely naked in front of all those people. Even though I am an old man, 64, I've got a six pack, very muscled up from going to the gym 6 days per week and following a good diet. I have to, to keep up with my very hot younger wife (41 years old). lol

Per my story above, I could be wrong but I think it might be because it was C/O and there were just too many covered people. My wife will act the very same way under these circumstances. She gets too self-conscious to get naked.

That's why I'm not a fan of C/O venues where a lot of people stay covered. Not only does it defeat the purpose; but it can make other women too self-conscious to get naked. So we go to "all nude" venues; because when everyone is naked, my wife is naturally going to gravitate to being naked too. And how am I going to have my fun if my wife isn't naked around everyone?! (jk)

Anyway, I'll get off my soap box lol!!
