European Sauna Advice

1. They are in the very center of the city. It doesn't seem like a big capacity. But if I were you, I would like to visit. Textile free I think. With part of Gym.

2. Saunas are only without clothes, swimming in the pools is optional. Whatever you want. I don't like their design.

3. Unknown. I think even clothes are mandatory in the pools.

4. Very nice thermal baths. They are part of a group like TE, which can be seen in a lot of things. 2 parts like TE. With clothes and without.
They seem quite close to the city by car or public transport. Also not too big. 6-7 saunas, so there is a possibility of crowds.

5. Part of a very famous thermal bath chain. Especially in the capital of Germany. Definitely visit and tell me your impressions.

6. Too far.

My choice would be: 5, 4 and 1.

I am also in a dilemma.
I would like to visit TE for the weekend.
I like the massiveness of the spa, but I'm also worried about whether the atmosphere will be pleasant or like at a train station.

And considering that I'm your age, will I be the youngest there or are there just as many young people as in VinB, where I'm thinking of returning?

I was just in N, E, and V in D recently. All great options, though different.

N: i went there in a Monday afternoon so my experience was probably not indicative of the weekends. But there were still a surprising number of people. Pretty much balanced ratio with a higher average age. Maybe the young girls don't go on Monday haha. It's a bit strange in that it's right in the city center and surrounded by apartments that have a clear view of everyone in the outdoor area (which may be kinda hot depending on what you're into). Multiple pools to choose from, all naked. I would go back there on a weekend next time I'm in Cologne to check out if it's better.

E: went on Sunday. Build very much in the Erd*ng style with a massive layout and palm trees. Though i don't think it's nearly as big. One big different i sew was that you enter directly into the textile free area from a separate changing room as opposed to having to go through the textile area to get to the naked area in Erd*ng. I prefer the latter since that means you get to see women strip down at the entrance to the textile free area when they come in. There were plenty of people, with the average age being around 35. The distribution was about 50% older than 50, 25% above 35, and the rest younger. But the numbers are very high so you'll always have entertainment. The pools are nice and they have conveniently positioned loungers facing the pool entrance so you get the perfect view.

Weirdly, i did not see any busy in E (all clean shaved) while there were quite a few in N. And i did hear a lot more English in E, meaning more tourists than N.

V: second time going there, this time on Saturday. As good as the first time I was there. But as many people as E but on average younger and fitter. I would also say I saw some of the most beautiful girls at this spa. Also has great seats near pool entrances, as well as open and right shower spaces where everyone squeezes into naked after an aufguss (if anyone's into that). Considering my experience so far, i would confidently say this is a safe choice for anyone.

That's my experience in Cologne. Haven't checked out the others.

A bit of a tangent here. I really enjoy seeing girls from different parts of the world get naked at spas. Something about the cultural taboos that makes it extra hot. But i barely saw any non Europeans in the spas in Cologne. I guess the best spas for this would be the ones in more international cities. My best experience in this regards was in Z in A, and maybe in B*rl*n. Anybody else have any suggestions for this niche?

Another tangent here. I wonder if anyone saw the employees of the spa get naked in the sauna. I saw this tall black guy giving the aufguss in E recently and later saw him getting into the salt pool naked. That makes me wonder about the other female employees and if they do that. There was one that was wearing a towel and explaining stuff to a customer but i never saw her going anywhere

I saw this a couple of times last year

1. At Z in A, there was a company, H*ppyA*fg*ss, doing an all day event and their staff took breaks and enjoyed the pools and showers nude. If you check out their insta they have some good looking staff.

2. In a smaller sauna, AquaL… in H*nn*ver a female saunameister in her 30s did the sessions in her swimsuit and after a session I saw her stripping off and taking a dip in the pool to cool down, then dress again all in the middle a group of customers.

That's a tough one. I'll answer off the top of my head cuz I don't have a detailed record of everywhere I've been and what I've seen. If we're talking about international crowd, it would be Z in A. Went there only once but there were multiple west and south Asian girls. Also saw the hottest Indian girl there and sat with her in a hot tub for 20 minutes there.

If it's in general, any of the V spas, Kr*stall, are all great without overloading you like Erd*ng does. One that particularly comes to mind is one in went to in Pr*gue. No international crowd at all but it was mostly super fit and busty women in the 20s to 30s. It was also the only one that actually made an effort to explain things to me. I went to an aufguss and didn't understand the explanation as usual but the lady asked if I understood and repeated it in English just for me. Plus they had very tight showers without barriers so there was quite a bit of accidental touches. Can't remember the exact name of the place though.

I've tried numerous smaller spas in smaller towns for the fun of it, but quickly realised that these rarely have many younger women. At least that was my experience in a few near the border between Germany and Switzerland recently on a vacation.

I'm still looking for that ideal one that's full of international women haha

That's interesting. Thanks for the info. The company seems to do shows all around Europe though they don't have a schedule published for this year yet. I'll keep an eye on them.
Never been to the one in H*n*ver. Maybe worth a shot, though the likelihood of the same thing happening is very low. But if that's normalised there, I guess it's more likely there than anywhere else

We're using spas as a couple. Can you recommend facilities in Europe that tolerate and don't strictly discourage more frivolous behavior in secluded areas? For example, innocent touching underwater or something erotic in a steam room.

Saunas in swingers' clubs are excluded.

I've heard of the historic thermal baths in Baden Baden.
