[Request] Nudity situation at your parents house and at yours

Let's start a post comparing how nudity is experienced in your parents home and ours. We might get to see if things improved.

My parents home: My parents wouldn't care if I (only son) saw them naked. Not sure if they did it because they thought it was a better way to raise me or if they simply didn't mind. I'd frequently see them showering, changing, bathing, looking for clothes, etc. Normal things you do naked they would never hide from me. They would also be nude by the swimming pool. Dad would swim nude and mom hang out by the pool sun tanning. Always naked. Then, of course, it was normal for me to join nude.

My own home now: Similar to my parents, but we took a step forward. We hangout much more naked. Very frequently we shower and just stay naked if the weather allows it. My wife was very shy but early on she knew she'd have to join if she wanted to stay with me. We have a teen son who's also very relaxed towards nudity which was expected considering his parents and paternal grand-parents.

What do you think your teenage son thinks about seeing his mother naked? Do his friends visit and see her?

My wife, Julie, and I have both lived as nudists all of our lives, both raised by deeply committed nudist parents. At my home it was my mom and dad, my older sister and me. At Julie's it was her mom and dad. her older sister and her. At both our homes nudity was the preferred state of dress and was highly encouraged at all times for all everyday activities.

Even as young adults ( 18 thru 25 years of age ), before we married, at both of our homes everyone, including all of our family members, was always nude. At our homes everyone was completely nude all of the time and saw and interacted with each other that way all day, every day. For us being nude has always felt natural and normal.

And yes, over the years we had many friends visit our home and they all met my parents and sister. All understood that our nudity was just our state of dress and that our nudity was not sexual.

I’m curious about this as well. Given how taboo nudity can be in the US, I wonder how he handles it. And I’m assuming he’s aware it’s relatively uncommon. I’d also be curious to know how/if being nude at home impacts his own body image.
