I haven’t been to a lot of saunas, but my local one is alright and I enjoy the views. I have a few stories but the one I enjoy the most is from last year. The sauna opening hours changed during the Christmas/New Year’s period, and closed a little earlier than normal. The sauna has one day in the week for women, and the rest of the days are mixed. Had a similar experience by very recently in a major European city at a public swimming pool with two saunas. One of the saunas was female only until a specific time, I was in the mixed sauna (which was 80% male) until then and then went over. I'm not sure there were any that were surprised, but it was nice to be able to go there while they were finishing up, showering, getting dressed.
