Those of you who are swingers, poly, or otherwise non monogamous, has anyone from your “vanilla” life found out about your lifestyle? If so who and how?

For us, our families all know we’re polyamorous. It’s hard to hide when we’re always with our other couple and their kids at all the family events.

As far as non family, most of my coworkers know, because I’m not shy about talking about my wife and my gf. A few are intrigued and curious, however, only one person has been judgmental to my face about it.

All her friends know, and are happy for us, and my best friend knows. He however found out we were swingers before we became poly and automatically assumed it meant he could sleep with my wife. Now I’m not opposed to it, quite the opposite, but his assumption was wrong, and my wife has no interest in fucking him.

It’s funny you say that when your best friend found out he automatically thought he could sleep with your wife- I had exactly the same experience. I had two friends my wife did want to sleep with but he wasn’t one of them - though I wouldn’t mind watching that at all.

We told our siblings and moms, our dads have no idea. It makes it easier scheduling things and eliminates secrecy to an extent. Most of our friends know, coworkers do not. For the most part we told everyone, the only people that found out on their own was two of my cousins who happened to be at a totally random event my wife was at with her boyfriend.

She didn’t see them there and was making out with him, obviously everyone else we knew at the event was aware. They said hi to her and she has the holy shit moment, then just introduced him as her boyfriend and said I was hanging home with the kids so they could have a night together. When I found that out it was hot as hell.

Lighter side of people knowing your life style preferences. My wife and I back in the 90s and 2000s started going to clothing optional resorts in Jamaica.

My wife at the time said let’s try it and ended up going several times. We enjoyed going and meeting like couples nude. My wife loved the freedom to expose herself and not be judged.

Back home though we had to be careful as to who we told as to what we did on vacation. My close guy friends only one I could share what we did.
He loved hearing the stories and my sharing my wife’s nudity with him. He told me he did not know if he could do it thought.
Another guy friend I started to lightly share our vacation with leading into what we did, he could not understand how it could let other men see my wife topless. I did not go any further sharing that other men saw more than her tits.

My wife had a couple of girl friends that she told and they were aroused by her stories but said they could never get naked like that.
One girl friend wanted to see photos but was disappointed my wife had none of myself to share with her.
My wife got a kick out of that.

We could never tell our family’s at all they would totally disapprove of us doing that.

We did have one friend of ours more my wife’s friend she was a lesbian and was always fond of my wife. Another story she always wanted to fuck my wife but my wife could never pull the trigger.
Out drinking with her one night my wife told her about our vacations. She got very aroused and wanted to see more. My wife told her some time when you come over I have a few photos.
Our lesbian friend was thin with a nice body, she made it very clear to both of us she could totally do it and would welcome the opportunity to go nude.
Our family has never know except for my wife’s daughter, she found the photos. She freaked out a little that her mom enjoyed the nude resorts.
