Joining Videos Together

Does anyone know a good program to join videos together? Any help would be great.

If you have windows xp, use MovieMaker. If not, here's a link that provides some free options depending on the type of clips you need to join: http://www.xxxmoviemart.com/faq/extfaq/joiners.html#avi.

I don't really know about pay software as I try to stay away from that.
