Some countries even allow total nudity on most of their beaches (like Scandinavian countries)

When I tell US friends how it was back in the day in Europe, it's almost like they don't believe me. Yes, toplessness was so normalized that even my classmates went topless at the community pool! Well if I look at my personal experiences, I have:
- Seen my mother go topless at the beach. Not often, but I remember once or twice in the presence of 2 aunts and their husbands. Aunts went topless too, which was very weird because they all were pretty conservative and "old style".
- Seen friends go topless and naked while on holiday.
- Seen a girlfriends mother go topless, together with my girlfriend.
