It came with a mini-tripod but I got a larger, collapsible one that holds it about 2ft off the ground, a wonderful investment.

These spotting scopes are designed for birdwatching but I use mine to watch a different kind of bird lol. Speaking of which I hadn't seen my new girl for over a week, I think she was away on holiday.
