My friend is on HRT and she said it's so much worse than just going through it naturally and dealing with it. Of course it's different for every woman, and even then it changes just when they get the hang of it.

My wife is also very prude, she always checks that the curtains are closed for fear of being seen, on the other hand her menopause did not alter her need for sex and in private she lets herself go completely and walks naked in the apartment which allows me to take photos and videos without her knowledge ... I wouldn't say my wife is a "prude", as she's happy to still wear clothes that show off her figure, which is in pretty good shape (as hopefully a few of you have seen from my posts/albums on here) getting admiring glances and comments for plenty of blokes, which I must admit I do enjoy!!!
