As a Finn I would definitely not recommend Finland on this regard. Some Finns do mixed nudity - but only in private places like summer cottages and so. Please visit Finland - but if you happen to visit any mixed saunas, be prepared to stay in your swimwear.

Sauna nude (Textilfrei), pool with swimwear. Is stated in the house rules (Badeordnung).
Website shows how full it is (Echtzeit-Auslastung), right now it is 80% empty (frei). So look ahead to make sure you're not alone.

You might also consider the Dantebad, which has an outdoor nude pool and sunbathing area. It has an evening discount price which usually means more and younger folks.😀

Have a look at this article. There you can see the thermal baths in this region. They all have a sauna aswell.
What you need to know: saunas in Germany are rarely just saunas. They are usually connected to a (thermal) bath. This, in turn, also ensures a lot of public traffic.

I can personally recommend the Bad Beuren thermal spa. There is a large outdoor area which is especially nice in summertimes, and lots of really nice saunas. The audience is very mixed, and there are good spots for beautiful sights. For that, I can particularly recommend the small whirlpool here.

However, if you are in Ulm, I would give the Donaubad a try. As it is an adventure pool as well as a sauna, you can expect a very mixed, younger crowd there. The adjoining sauna area looks good to me, but I've never been there myself.

I'll be heading to Berlin with the GF and want to visit a few great sauna's mentioned here. So far on my list I have the following:

- V@bali (ofcourse)
- L!quidrom
- Spr3ewelten
- Krist@ll Wohlfühltherme
- Tropic@l Islands
- ???

We'll be going there for a full week, but we will realistically only have the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday available for a visit. Naturally we won't be able to visit all during our stay, but I do want to see as much people as possible

So for those experienced with the Berlin spa's; Which days are the most busy at which sauna's?

Friday Spree, Sat.Vabali, Sun. Kristall. Forget Liqui and Trooical, not much nudity. Go afternoon/evening.
Also consider Wannsee or Müggelsee, both have nude beaches.

I wasn't aware there were nude beaches in Berlin. The wife is more into lounging by the pool but I'll make the suggestion! It also looks like our Friday schedule will be a bit too busy. Do you have experience with busyness on Thursday by any chance?

I don't think it's what it used to be though. When I lived and worked there in the 1990s there were naked bodies all over any bit of green space when the sun came out - even visible from our office window. Nothing like that last time I was there though sadly

Wannsee and Müggelsee have been nude since around 100 years. And still are. Other places aren't anymore, but I didn't suggest those.
