I have stayed in probably 30 hotels in 10 cities in Germany and all have insisted on nudity in the spa.

The saunas will be nude, but their pool could require swimwear. So better ask. The correct word for nude is "Textilfrei".

When I am in a new facility, I usually ask a neutral question like: I have never been in your sauna. Could you tell me, how it works? Or something like this. They usually start with notice that all the facility is no-swimwear zone. Or that I need swimwear in the pool, whirpool or wherever. And give me some basic info including other specifics.

My wife and I are both Asian and only recently went to a couple of thermal baths and saunas in Germany.

For us we were already comfortable with being nude in front of strangers as we regularly go to nude beaches back home.

I did notice my slim, fully shaven wife get a fair number of looks while in the sauna or walking fully nude between baths. It's a huge turn on to see so many guys checking her out. To give you an idea, she's been told she looks like Lucy Lui. It was especially gratifying when we laid down fully nude on the infrared beds which were right next to a heavily used walkway. If you understand enough german, read the "hausordnung" or the FAQ on their website.
If you don't, contact them and ask:
"Ist die Sauna Textilfrei"? The Sauna will almost always be. If not, expect Arab clientele and go elsewhere.
"Ist das Schwimmen Textilfrei?" Some are, some not to accommodate everybody. Your choice.
Else google the location or SPA together with the word "Textilfrei". TripAdvisor ratings also help when tourists complain about " OMG, they were naked" 😆

Asians are seldom, and especially shaved women. So many will look. And as I assume your wife is beautiful, even more. Be proud!

I was in a medium size spa in the Netherlands recently. There were four Asian women that day, two Chinese together, one South Asian with her white boyfriend and a Filipino couple. All looked to be in their 20s.

I actually made friends with the Chinese girls. I saw them sitting in an infrared sauna which was a round room. They were sitting next to each other. Some of the infrared lights were not working so I sat a couple of places from them, with nobody in between us. Since it was a round space I had a diagonal view of them, less than two meters away. One of them said to me that the lights were not working in English. Since it was obvious that they were not working, it seemed like an excuse to start a conversation with me. It probably doesn't hurt that I'm in good shape with visible abs and look quite a lot younger than I am.

So we started chatting there all naked, almost facing each other. They had lived in The Netherlands for several years and from the conversation I could gather that they are not students in their early 20s as I had assumed based on their looks, but actually closer to 30. Both of them had fairly typical Asian bodies, short with small boobs. We continued the conversation later at a rest space. I asked them if there were spas like this in China. They said yes, but not naked!
