Why is so much of the stuff posted from beaches cropped to within a pixel of its life!
It just means you end up with low res or thumbnail sized images without context. So annoying.
I've nearly reached 10,000 unique beach images now.
I was at 11,200. But having used Cisdem Duplicate Finder realised I had nearly 2000 that had been cropped differently over and over. And this was with me not keeping pics under 100k in size but most over 250k size with a min 1000 pixels in any one axis.

the majority of the pics in this thread in recent years are actually not allowed under OCC rules since they are cropped to remove the watermarks from the originating pay sites. If they didn't crop them they wouldn't be able to post them.
