The man was 86, and while the manner of his his death was sudden, it can't have been entirely unexpected. I'd have to imagine there's been some kind of plan in place for the theater to carry on after his passing.

I miss the audience being undressed part of macumbra. On a side note: the INERTE/INERME performance reminds me of Macumbra since audience members join the performers in undressing. The private version shows the audience members fully without cutting away which is something i disliked about Macumbra.

I don't think I've ever heard of INERTE/INERME, and I can't find anything on the OCC search. If you have any links, can you please share them in the main nudity in the theatre and in art thread?

Pretty sure kennyth is referring to a different performance at a Stefano Scheda exhibition (e.g. cf. artapartofculture.net/2020/01/26/stefano-scheda-vedo-nudo-con-inerte-inerme/ ) which, reminiscent of some of the Uzyna ones, featured audience participation in the stripping...
