Why these clothes going for ridiculous prices?

Hi All

hope all good ? so im not the only one to notice ???

if you go to sold listings you have some at 100 for a top

300 for something else , please take a look . think shes doing extra extra, if you get my drift .

i.e worn knickers 100 , but i mean more than that

there is a whole sub culture on ebay but thats a story for another day people !

I was thinking the same yesterday when taking a look. Thought there might be multiple items with the same ‘winner’ but nothing obvious in the 5/6 items I checked.
Be interesting to know if anyone’s got anything from her? Info, pics, videos, etc.

For all the ones that went for over the prices it was the same winner.

Looking at the bidding, there was only 1 or two bidders.

But looking at it today the usernames have changed.

The same username/handle always gives the feedback.

I did try it with her, but had no success.

Her reply was

“That buyer just wanted to pay me lots, didn’t get anything other than the item sent to them”

Maybe someone else can have better luck

Hi all ,

This might be a little much to follow but stick with me .

This a rough breakdown of how this all pans out …..

Its payment for services rendered i.e. very private 1 to 1 cam work / other service etc. .

she doesn't even send the item . just keeps relisting the same item over and over for whatever the "buyer" owes for her cam time / other service .

They then pay her for the "item" ,she marks it as dispatched and then the "buyer" leaves good feedback , (as you all have seen) , thereby telling those "in the know" that her cam / other services etc. are good .

All following so far ? lol

Anyway , so as the buyer has left good feedback for the item , (she has been selling for a while , so selling feedback not really a problem). eBay's automated system releases the funds. then as always , its paid out to whatever account she set up to send payments to. (showing as eBay sarl on her statements) i.e. clean

so the buyer has their item , and she has been paid for her time / other service ,and its all done through eBay's payment system . (comes up as a purchase on eBay ,on the buyers bank statement. no explaining themselves to wife /company about strange payment. )

so she has been paid for her "item" as a private seller (all vat and tax paid) apparently!
Buyer happy , untraceable payment for cam/other service .

Then the cycle repeats …

Hope this is clear and makes sense to all , and not just the ravings of a loon lol.

trust me she is not the only one doing this

so when I said eBay has a underground sub culture, dark underbelly , i wasn't lying.

or am i just a nut who should wear a foil hat .

any input would be appreciated .

Makes perfect sense to me. Most people will try to hide a transaction of this nature if they’re using (for example) joint bank accounts. Let’s face it, who would want to explain to a partner about payments made to OF or another similar site.
Have you managed to get any positive response out of her regarding this or any other extras?

It makes sense to me. I had a transaction happen like this on ebay (just pics though). She never even sent the item. Whether it's for privacy, to keep transactions "clean," or both, I could believe it.
