A typical Friday night for the wife and I after our youngest left for college would be to order dinner, share 1-2 bottles of wine, have some desert, and watch a movie while snuggling together on the couch. This became a common routine for us in as new empty-nesters. We were doing so one night. The movie ended sometime after midnight. I went upstairs to bed. My wife will always clean the kitchen before she goes to sleep. As I'm dozing off I hear a scream from my wife as if something startled her.

I was laying there trying to decide if I should get up and check on her when I hear her running up the stairs. At the same time I hear some voices and laughter going on downstairs. When my wife gets up to the bedroom she is frantic and nervously explaining to me that our college-age son is home unexpected and has a few of his friends are with him.

He goes to college about an hour away and him showing up at home unannounced wasn't something new, but doing so with his friends at 1 am was. He had driven back to meet up with his friends from highschool for a gathering at a bar. Afterwards they decided to come stay at our house for old time sake.

The embarrassing part of this was that when you enter our house through the garage there a mini-mud room and straight ahead is the kitchen sink. The sink area is the first thing you see when you walk through the door. And there for all the guys to see when they walked in was my 55-year-old wife's backside in underwear and a small t-shirt that covered up nothing below the waistline. She wasn't wearing thong underwear, but she wasn't wearing granny panties either. Something in between and ample cheekage on display as this type of underwear is the type of material that crawls up my wife's bubble butt very easily.

I guess she didn't even hear them enter right away so the glimpse lasted several seconds at least. Then my wife had to run through the kitchen and up the stairs – all in view of where the guys were probably standing at this point.

I had to go down there and smooth everything out. My son was bothered by it for a while. My wife was super embarrassed about it when it happened. But everyone's gotten over it and it's a story we all laugh about now. Even my kid's friends were cool and respectful about it. But I tease my wife and tell her that it's a visual that none of them will ever forget.

Our sons always call before they come over now.

My girlfriend once survived a fire. She heard shouting and knocking at the door warning of a fire (a gas cylinder was on fire, which ignited the entire ceiling and ceiling, which, admittedly, was from the outside, made of plaster, but inside - wooden and straw (!). She escaped wearing only a thin-semi-transparent pajamas on. After the fire was extinguished She had nowhere to sleep and live, they called on distant family. Finally a distant uncle agreed to stay the night for them. The burned house is still standing, and in the end the damage wasn't that great and was limited to one room, but at the time of the burning the fireman said he didn't know if he would let us in because the house might collapse. When fleeing, she didn't take her clothes with her, she jumped out in what she was in. No one worried about her, because theoretically she was dressed and nothing happened. Her uncle, firefighters and people on the street paid attention to her, of course. We still live in that house to this day, but at the time it was no laughing matter.

Just copy and pasted from a previous thread I posted on. Good enf story my now ex told me

So my girlfriend was staying at her friends house and she needed to shower because she was sweaty from working out earlier. Her friend had told her they didn’t have a lock on the door so she just let everyone know she was going for a shower and not to come in which included her friend’s brother and his friend. Just as she got undressed and got in the shower her friends younger brother burst in (friend was in her room at the other end of the hall so didn’t realise and parents had went out for the night) and said he needed to pee so she screamed and told him to get out so he slowly left. Then she told me that 5 mins later he burst in again saying the same thing and just stared at her for a couple seconds (glass door shower not curtains)while she shouted again. She described it to me as “no underwear no bra just trying to cover up with my hands”. Obviously he got in huge trouble for it but I wonder if he still thinks of it now 2 years later lol
