Yes, this is from the German film, Toni Erdmann (2016). @2h14m
The hairy creature is some sort of good omen (like a black cat or rabbit's foot?) from Bulgarian folk myth.

Plot: a practical joking father has lost touch with his too-busy, hard-working, straight-laced daughter. He tries to reconnect by disguising himself and posing as her CEO's life coach. No-one is fooled, but the daughter is moved and inspired - so she plays along and arranges a naked team-building party (these stills).

The film is called 'Toni Erdmann', and that scene is extremely funny in context. It would take a while to explain why, and I don't know whether it will enhance your enjoyment of that scene or not, but the 'hairy mass' is actually her dad wearing a costume.

I've heard she was difficult to work with as well. However, while a little wacky I agree most of her troubles were due to saying "no" to powerful people in Hollywood or making them uncomfortable.

For example she supposedly put Steven Spielberg in a corner at a party asking him why she didn't get the role of Marion in "Raiders of the Lost Ark". She also turned down dating Ridley Scott and later ran afoul of Harvey Weinstein, making jokes about his size. Another director she had issues with was Oliver Stone.

Some say she has a direct, straightforward manner that puts people off...and if that's the case it's easy to understand why she acquired the rep she did.

Maybe it's not fair, but an actor's life comes with a cost. You want the life, you want the wealth, the fame...well, there's a price of admission and dues to pay unless you're very lucky. There's always someone younger and hotter coming down the line who will say "yes" to anything and play the game.
