It must be at least 25 years ago when me and the Mrs went to Turkey every summer.
We'd heard about proper Turkish baths, and decided to do one(our first one) halfway through the holiday, to get rid of all the dead skin. The hotel we were staying in had it's own Turkish bath, so this year we booked our first Turkish bath, with the masseur as well.
It was down in the basement, and you had to book your slot. So it wasn't a wander in/free for all arrangement.
Anyway we are sitting outside waiting, and the masseur appeared. He was a fairly young guy, and quite tall. We went in, and he started soaping up the cloth as the room got hotter. I went first, soaped up, then exfoliated then washed over with clear water. Then the massage, with some oils.
He clicked my neck, like all Turkish barbers do. I felt very relaxed after.
He beckoned to my Mrs, and she got up and walked towards him. To my astonishment she asked if she should take her bikini top off.
He said if she was OK doing so, then yes. She unclipped and removed her bikini top, and lay down on the hot marble.
He soaped her up, her entire body. Watching a total stranger soap my Mrs tits was very errotic. He then did the exfoliation, again including her exposed breasts. She turned over onto her stomach and he did her back and rear. He pulled the bikini briefs down slightly and exfoliated her again. As he did so the bikini bottoms edged further down and exposed more of her bare bum.
Next, the massage. She remained on her front for that, and he squirted some oils in his hand and began massaging her.
He had a towel wrapped around his waist, and I had no idea if he had briefs on underneath. I was now looking to see if was getting excited, I couldn't see evidence of an errection.
Anyway he worked her over very thoroughly, each leg, calves, hamstrings etc. Her back as well, again rolling her bikini bottoms down to expose maximum flesh.
To my surprise she reached down, and pulled them down further so her bum was completely exposed.
He massaged her shoulders, arms, back, and bare bum. I just sat there, viewing it and asked her if she was relaxed "very" was her reply. When he eventually stopped he said to turn over, so she flipped over. Her bikini bottom was still rolled down so her bare bum was now on the hot marble surface, which didn't seem to bother her.
He began massaging her front. It might have been my imagination but he seemed to spend a lot of time massaging her breasts. Her stomach got a bit of attention.
I noticed her pubes were poking out of her bikini briefs, and as he massaged away at her hips and thighs even more became visible.
He clicked and rolled her neck, then fingers. And that was it.
We sat outside, relaxed and drank cold water as he cleaned up the bath area.
Best £40 I've ever spent, I gave him a decent tip as well.

Is it common that the husband can watch the wife be treated in a Turkish bath? I thought users were segregated by gender.

If it's common, I should be making a pitch to visit!

If it were a public one, yes they're segregated.
But this was within a hotel used by Europeans.

It 25 years ago FGS,. It was on the outskirts of Marmaris, and was yellow in colour.

So our plans have changed so we may be staying in Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam. Are there any good nude saunas there as well?

...it's half an hour or so by train between the cities.
(And btw, what used to be a nice sauna near Rotterdam, Elysium, is supposedly 'down the drain nowaday'.)

While staying in Rotterdam, we stayed in SpaSereen Maarssen, which is near Utrecht and very nice. But it was a nightmare to get back from without a car. If you have a car, it might be worth considering. It was a bit quiet when we went there. I think it is mostly local people.

I take good care of myself and have a pretty good physique and it does feel good just walking around a complex completely naked without a care in the world and catching women peeking through the side of their eyes every now and again.
