I will say that the previous commenter who called this thread "creepy" does need to take a good hard look at the rest of this forum. We are talking about a forum that openly hosts leaked nude photos of college co-eds, alongside dressed photos of them with their families, and while wearing clearly marked college apparel. 99% of the content on this forum has been taken and/or posted without the consent of the subject. At the very least, the participants of the WNBR (and other public events) are willing participants, who know full well that their photos will be taken, and most likely shared online. This is a far cry from most of the threads on this website, which depict subjects in private settings, where it is reasonable for them to expect their privacy to be kept. In saying that, I do agree that posting clothed photos of WNBR subjects and "outing" them as participants could effect the number of willing participants in future years, just as the presence of photographers in the first place would no doubt limit the number of people willing to take part. In acknowledging the above point, I will think again about posting my collection on here and perhaps keep them private, in the hope that this forum does not contribute to the dwindling numbers of female participants in future WNBR events. However, with the facial recognition technology becoming more widely accesible, this kind of thread is inevitable!! I suspect that with the vast quantity of WNBR content already online, there are countless people already running facial searches, and identifying as many past participants as they can. We would be naive to think that this material is not going to make its way to the internet, whether its posted to OCC, or any number of other online platforms. The stark reality is, modern technology will leave future participants with nowhere to hide, and the inevitable result will be the death of these events due to loss of female interest, or a greater need for participants to wear face coverings, which really takes a lot of the fun out of things. Imagine a world where there were no cameras and no internet, the WNBR would likely attract tens of thousands of participants, living freely without the fear of publication. It would be a fabulous event to be a part of, but the catch-22 is that we would never get to see evidence of it! |

This is a reasonable take. I think you should keep any posts you have made up, it would be a shame to lose them. Like you say, this event and this thread are about appreciating naked beauty, I don’t believe we are anything more than a very small corner of the internet trying to do just that.
Regarding the future, I honestly don’t know why people keep going on about ‘dwindling female participation’. It’s struck me as a given that less women take part in these things because women take less risks, are more sensible, and less likely to do things like this as a bit of fun, unlike lads. I’m sure back in 2005 when flip phones and Nikon cameras were the mainstay there were more women taking part, but at London alone this year we must have seen 100 attractive young ladies from ages 18-35 totally nude, with probably 150-200 more in their underwear. Let’s not forget that this is completely unheard of! In the 1950s this would have brought the sky down! The way I see it, society is going to go one of two ways: either we end up in some kind of prudish puritan religious state or we end up with total societal freedom. Exhibitionist girls and women are more empowered than ever before in our society with things like o***fans and Instagram. They know that firing someone for getting naked in public in a non-sexual event is not s good look these days. I myself know of at least one girl from my sixth form (only 40 students in the year) who used to be very prudish but went to Australia and now posts pictures of her nearly naked bum in tiny thong swimsuits. Do the math - that’s a lot of exhibitionist females who want to show off! In conclusion, if these events start dwindling it will be because of rules and legislation, not a lack of motivation or a fear of being found out. Last edited by Turtle; 07-07-2023 at 03:53 PM. I doubt that our little corner of the internet will make much of an impact on overall attendance either - but we can still enjoy viewing these women without linking their public images to their private lives.

- Yes, women are more "sensible" perhaps because they have more to lose and are more vulnerable both physically and socially eg to hypocritical social oppobrium. Quote:
- Sadly not enough of society is as enlightened as you are. Quote:
- I've seen queries like why has such and such a beautiful woman (eg Barclays librarian, eg flower girls) stopped doing WNBR? - I've heard of some (perhaps naieve) women complaining about being objectified by their cropped pictures at WNBR and also of intrusive photographers. As to "rules and legislation" - I don't which ones you mean, WNBR is lawful in eg UK. The Conservative government plans to limit all protest - not specifically nude ones. However, as a compromise I would suggest at least leaving a gap of at least a year before doing a dressed/undressed comparison using social media. |

Yes I saw that article from a while back with a woman complaining about the photographers. I think that there isn’t much wrong with the sorts of stuff being posted on Flickr (either photographers fully taking part in the event themselves or doing non-intrusive shots from the far to side of the road). Ultimately in a society where we have to legally wear clothes, someone being granted permission by the authorities to get naked and (presumably) enjoy all the various enjoyable ‘states of mind’ that one might experience while should not be able to demand freedom from the consequences of their exhibitionism. I also have to say that she is very much in the minority, with most people giving the photographers a friendly wave or perhaps a shy smile. About protests being banned, I very much doubt something that fully complies with the current government agenda of both the Conservatives (net zero) and the London Labour Party (Mayor Sadiq Khan’s ultra low emission zone) is going to be first on the chopping block. |
