I agree that it looks like it was deleted. When this happens I assume that an admin got some kind of complaint and needed to take it down.

SmugMug users can signup for weekly notifications of the most popular photos with the number of image views.
When they notice their risque photos are getting big views they realise the world sees them and delete or password-protect the galleries.

Therefore someone was suggesting before sharing the links, is best to grab a backup yourself, if you share them then they also get across other forums that allow for hot links and allow for search robot crawls.

The links go viral, the SmugMug user gets lots of clicks on the racy shots, and the rest is history.

The guideline then is:

Backup before sharing links,
Or upload only photos don't disclose links.

But for pictures posted here, and removed from here, there was probably something else going on. Like an owner of the pics contacting admin to remove them. Or underage content. Something like that. We all know that Alexa was above age. So more than likely an owner contacted admin and it was removed. Which I will never ever dispute . It is what it is.
