Not an easy scene to find. Here's a better version of a shot that's been posted, and the movie poster showing her covering up in her underwear. Probably the only movie I've ever seen where I was completely surprised by the ending.

Nancy Kwan was not the only Asian girl who fit this profile in her era...though she was certainly the most famous. There was also Irene Tsu. And of course there was Mie Hama, who played the white bikinied side kick of James Bond at the end of "You Only Live Twice".

"In Japan, man always comes first". A good Bond pun, reused (and extended) in one of the Austin Powers films.

I like the sentiment!

"You Only Live Twice" is my favorite Connery outing of the Bond franchise. Although it's amazing you don't hear much from the diversity police about the film being racist or "culturally inappropriate".

When you consider what they had to say about Mickey Rooney in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", it's a wonder this Bond film is not called out for the same type of thing.

Maybe because nobody could figure out what ethnicity Connery was actually supposed to be (I think he was Romulan). Worst makeup job in film history. Compare Connery in You Only Live Twice to Joel Grey in Remo Williams. The makeup was so good in that film, most people didn't even realize that Grey wasn't Korean.

Came across this--it's a color image of a bikini clad Nancy Kwan from behind the scenes of the movie "Honeymoon Hotel" (1964). The B&W image was included in my original montage.

Incidentally I have seen this film and NK does not wear this bikini in the film...or anything particularly revealing for that matter. I believe she may have worn it for promotional materials.

Thanks! The suspense and her expression of dread before the guy ripped her dress was better than what little we saw. It looked like she was wearing a modern day sports bra.

One of the greatest ever EUF scenes. The rest of the film is pretty awful. Like I say, a few trailers create the impression this is an LSS scene.

It's okay. I wouldn't call it great. They're all good looking women, but the only one wearing sexy underwear is Regina Hall. Why the hell Anna Faris went blonde is beyond me. She looks so much better as a brunette.
