I don't remember her bare ass in the movie tho it's been so long that I could be wrong (or might have seen a sanitized tv version).

Maybe you are thinking of a similar scene with Jessica Alba in "The Killer Inside Me"?

No, I'm definitely not thinking of the Jessica Alba scene. I saw Tank back when it was on HBO, not long after it first came out. It was one of those films that HBO played constantly (and it's actually fairly enjoyable). Even though I really like tall women, I never cared much for Jenilee Harrison until I saw her in this movie. My dislike was based entirely on her performance in Three's Company, which wasn't fair. Her character was poorly written, and it wasn't easy stepping into Suzanne Somers bra. I clearly remember a brief shot of her bare ass in this scene. In fact, it was the reason I watched the film so many times.

There are probably different cuts of the scene, perhaps. I just downloaded the movie of it and it doesn't show anything.
