When I was in the Algarve a few years ago, there were girls topless on the beach. Not many, but definitely more than a handful. I was hoping that extended to wellness centres as well.


I am now planning for a trip to Germany around Christmas time, the mecca of all wellness centres. Would anyone care to recommend any outstanding nude hotel spas? Not necessarily massive wellness centres as I'm not sure my wife would go for it, but a hotel with a nice (nude) spa would be an easier sell.

Well, every five star hotel in Berlin/Munich/Hamburg basically has nude spas/sauna areas, but the nudity depends on the guest. Sure there will be guests who will be totally nude and there will be those who will be covered up with a towel. I was in Grand Hyatt in Berlin and in Intercontinental Berlin and they are both nude. In Munich its the same story. In Hamburg there was an amazing spa in the Sofitel but that closed...

You're way better off going to a sauna centre in the city than in a hotel spa.

I will say this though, hotel spas can have like 5 - 10 guests in a sauna so I guess it's easier to meet someone there, but in terms of nudity its waaay less and waaay more boring.

When I'm in Germany and stay in a nice hotel, I only use the sauna after the gym for half an hour, the bigger spas are much better for voyeurism/flirting.

Hey Saunaguy, thanks so much for the recos. We don't have an exact destination in Germany yet. We're going for the Christmas markets so anywhere in Germany is an option. I'll look into Grand Hyatt and the Intercontinental in Berlin. Same hotels in Munich?

The purpose of my visit is less to see nude women, and more about exposing my wife, who I'm hoping would be nude because "do as the Romans do." I'm thinking in a bigger venue, she would be more shy as more people will see her. If it's in a hotel spa, fewer people, so she might be more open to it.

youre welcome. Well if money is no object do both Munich and Berlin, or Berlin and Hamburg.

Just remembered that the "best" hotel in Berlin has a separate sauna area for male and female, so Adlon is not your choice. Ofc Munich hotels are also more expensive I would try Westin Grand Munich there, its not in the centre but waaay cheaper and has a nude sauna area.

Also important - the nude part of the spa is only the sauna area, the pools at hotels are always bathing suit mandatory. In therme they are all nude. so keep that in mind.

This is the same as me. I'm all about people seeing my wife naked, and I think she'll be into it too. She hasn't fully committed to the nude spa yet but hasn't said no which I think means she is being coy. With wellness resorts/hotel spas it takes some deeper planning. Check out the individual websites and locations on google

- Do they have clothing optional days?
- Is the entire resort naked or just the saunas?
- Is it a modern hip place? This will influence the crowd.
- Is it more expensive on specific times?
- etc..

I haven't been here for a while but I took note of some of my/our recent spa visits. It helps that the Mrs also likes to "look around" and on our drives back home she often brings up looks or bodies of other women.

We went to the sauna last weekend so let me start by the most recent experience. It is a relatively small time sauna, which actually is one of our favorites. It was an all day event for us, and we arrived right at the time they opened. Even before the door opened, there were 2 female couples (well, girlfriends, not lesbian I assume) waiting to get in. So I got to see them with their clothes on first:

Girlfriend couple #1: Both around the age of 25-26, both brunettes, and both dressed quite "nicely" for a day at the sauna/spa. I don't remember the details, but both had short boots with a heel on, so I couldn't guess their length yet.
