In previous visits I have seen quite a few mother/daughter couples but unfortnately not this time. On a side note, there were a few younger women/girls accompanied by older women who I assume were their mothers, but the girls I am referring to are too young to discuss here, so let's not do that.

Bathing is mixed those days (I think Monday and Thursday are the only two that are not) and you get some tourists. Since you are no longer limited on time, I would get there in the morning and stay as long as you like. Afternoon can be good, if that is all you can get. If you are going to stay in Baden-Baden, then afternoon or evening is good, since the experience will help you relax even more.

Can’t really speak for German saunas specifically, but as an uncircumcised European I find the question weird. I’ve never heard of uncircumcised men pulling their foreskins back unless it’s for washing. People don’t walk around with retracted foreskin…

Well, we are not a shy couple, so I guess neither me nor my wife would mind some company. We are probably visiting this bath on the weekend. From the experience I have with some baths in Bayern, there were mostly guests of an older age group... maybe most between 45 to 60. Me and my wife, we are both in our 30s so I hope in Friedrichbad we'll get the chance to see some young people.
