Pretty much any hotel in Germany that has its own sauna or wellness (as they sometimes call it) area will qualify. There are also some places that are mostly sauna/therme complexes but also have a small hotel attached to it. Without narrowing down the geographical area, it’s difficult to recommend anything specific.

I went to Baden-Baden for the first time in a few years to take my GF to Friedrichsbad - her first visit. Since the pandemic, they have closed one side of Friedrichsbad, and the schedule says that it is mixed all week, except for Thursdays (so, maybe women-only on Thursday - not sure), and admission used to get you 3 hours in the complex, but now there is no time limit. Sounds interesting. I'm visiting germany with my wife and will be near baden baden in a couple of days. Do you suggest to visit this bath on the weekends or rather weekdays? And it is better to be there early, or later in the evening?

Please note that my experiences are from pre-Covid. Having said that:

- in summer mostly non-German tourists tend to go there; for Germans (and for the French from across the border) it’s more of a winter activity;
- generally speaking, locals tend to prefer to go there on Sunday afternoons and early evenings.
- tourists will go there at any time they happen to be around, so I don’t think that makes any difference

We have recently spent a weekend at a hotel that offered unlimited entrance to nearby thermal baths. Like many of those places, this one consisted of a large clothed pool area and not as large but still big naked sauna zone. The sauna complex spread across three floors but the middle one was not accessible due to some maintenance work.
