A Pat of Appreciation

Another clip involving Leonard Rossiter, this time from his last film Water, which was released a year after his death in 1984. Here, he plays a MP sent to the island of Cascara by ship in order to surrender it's sovereignty, and decides to take his attractive secretary with him (played by Felicity Dean). After she is disappointed that where they are going is not more attractive, Rossiter says "Well...I thought I'd show you the delights of St Lucia for a couple of days." She is quick to get his meaning, and after replying "Super!" he leads her away to head below deck, and she soon understands that to receive secretaries perks she has to in turn tolerate his own unscrupulous attentions, as he moves his hand down and gropes her bum as he leads her below...

Another clip - I'm uploading a number of these over the month before I sign off here - and this one is a real eye opener, and caused a real rumpus among the woke brigade last year. This is from the UK TV children's show Ministry of Mayhem (known as MOM when this was broadcast) from 2005, and involves Holly Willoughby and Brian Dowling, who were the kids presenters on there. Holly is dressed in a tight wetsuit type costume, and announces "Welcome back to MOM. The next part of Captain Scarlet is coming soon" before then turning to Dowling, who is dressed as Captain Scarlet. She gives him a playful push and coos "Captain Scarlet", only for him to turn round and say "You're barking up the wrong tree here, love. Try Captain Black." "Okay," she replies, and as she turns away Dowling gives her bum a good smack, with Holly giving a squeal of delight as she goes, as Dowling turns to the camera and says "Ooh, tight!"

Eye opening for sure, but when the clip resurfaced last year it caused a predictable rumpus, with a number criticizing Dowling and saying "How did he get away with that?" What they seem to of ignored is that Dowling is GAY, and if he is going to be lambasted for what looks like fun and uninhibited times back then, then I presume they will be looking up all those episodes of How To Look Good Naked where Gok Wan got to grips with various parts of female contestants by using the same excuse. As it is, I upload this before it disappears from You tube, as this is where I got it from. Marvel at how they got away with it from a different and unaffected era, and more importantly admire the bounce Holly's booty gives when Brian slaps her bum. And if he can't be turned by Holly's backside, then he's definitely gay!

It's due to a couple of bereavements I've had over the last two years that have taken it's toll on me. I'd been cutting back my time on here since, but when I had the break over Xmas I realized I hadn't missed being on here and that I no longer had the same energy I'd once had for the place. So I felt the time was right to leave. Don't worry, though, because I shall leave my account on here so that all my thread posts and albums will still remain for people to enjoy. Despite winding off from here, I feel it's a shame when people delete their accounts, as their work and effort disappears with them, with some going back 10/15 years. So my photos and videos will remain, and if any want any of my pics then they are free to have them.

Anyway, to save this being just a written post, I shall add a video with it, and this is another find from You know tube. It's from Italian TV - Toscana TV, to be exact - where footy reporter Greta Beccaglia was outside the grounds reporting on the Empoli v Fiorentina game after the match. The supporters are piling out of the grounds when - on live TV - a bloke comes along and gives her a slap on the bum, giving his hand a kiss first before doing so. She gives a polite wave of her finger and says "Excuse me" before likely asking him not to touch her bum. It seems to of been a rowdy crowd, as then another chap give her lip as he goes past, and one lad she interviews decides to swear and stick his finger up at the camera. I can only presume they were the losing fans. Mind you, Greta is no stranger to Insta gram, and there are a number of pics of the lovely lady showing just what that prat in the hat was getting to slap with her posting a few photos of her bum (sadly clothed). I've included a couple here just so you can judge for yourself what star talents Greta has to offer in the posterior department.

Thanks cufan86. It's kind of you to say so. I'm hoping it does too, and the rest does me some good, as I've always enjoyed my time on here.

Another clip I came across on the You tube channel, this is from the film Barbershop from 2002. I do not know the actress involved in the clip, but it involves her in a clinch with a chap outside while another bloke watches from afar in amazement in the street, as her lover moves his hand down to her backside, and gives it a good grope. Indeed, he gets more than a good feel of her bum, and afterwards both look on in awe at her bottom walking off as she then heads off to the Barber shop of the title. The actor who got to be her lover in this scene must of loved his job that day!

This clip comes from the film Taxi from 2004, and involves a police "frisk down" (ie, body search) by cop Gisele Bundchen on Jennifer Esposito. As the other cops watch on in amazement, Gisele proceeds to use all of her authority to touch up Jennifer every which way but loose as she gropes her bum, breasts and anything else going, while all Jennifer can do is stand there and take it. All it needed was for Gisele to of used handcuffs and it would of been fantasyland for the scriptwriters! I've also included an outtake of this scene on the end where Gisele 'accidentally' slaps Jennifer's bum as her character gets her to spread her legs. As with the previous video yesterday I've allowed it to play 'straight' (ie, no repeat edits), as I feel this video suits better showing as it was shot.

This video comes from the Jessie Matthews film The Midshipmaid from 1932, and marked John Mills' film debut. Jessie herself was a hugely popular star back in the 1930's, both in the UK and in the USA, where Hollywood tried several times to sign her up. But British cinema knew they had a marketable asset that would sink their studios if she left, and kept hold of "The Dancing Divinity" as Hollywood dubbed her. This was in part due to her chirpy nature and somewhat saucy costumes she would wear, which were a big attraction for Pre-Code Hollywood, as was her trick of kicking her legs high up in the air over her head.

In this film, she plays the daughter of an MP assigned to seek cuts in the navy and ends up falling for the ship's captain (Basil Sydney), much to her father's disapproval. Banned from seeing him, she takes the place of a sailor (John Mills) for a stage show - complete with mask - to dance with Basil on stage, and at first not even he recognizes her. "Don't kick me during the dance," he tells her "otherwise you'll get six of the best in the place where there's most room for them." He then slaps her bottom and says irritably "Go on - stick your chest out and pretend you're a woman." He only realizes his mistake when she starts to giggle, and he whips off her mask. And there is no mistaking Jessie Matthews is a woman, believe me! I've skipped the dance on stage part to go straight to when Jessie hurries back to get changed after her father becomes suspicious of the dancers on stage. Here she finds John Mills and they agree to swap clothes, while a sailor agrees to stall her father. During this scene she pokes her head up over the cubicle and you can see she is topless behind the screen, which has a gap in the middle. I've slowed the footage down for you to get a good glance, as you can briefly see nipples as she bobs up before she then ducks back down again. Not something you expect to see in a UK film from 1932, but this is a Jessie Matthews film, after all!

Two more Jessie Matthews videos coming up, and the 1st is from Friday the Thirteenth from 1933 (which I should of with foresight uploaded yesterday). The film told the story of a bus crash and in flashback looked back at the lives of the passengers in the day running up to the tragedy and who would survive the crash. Jessie plays a showgirl seen dancing on the stage during an audition who is desperate for fame, and her costume in this is somewhat see through! She receives notice from an influential agent who has an "interesting offer" for her, and starts off by grabbing hold of her arm as she makes her way off stage with the other showgirls and greeting her with the line "Hello sweetheart. You know you're a kid in a million" before slapping her on the backside. "What original things you think of to say," replies Jessie, rubbing her bum. "Well, you've certainly got the best...pair of legs in the bureau," he replies, as he then pats her bum some more. Indeed, throughout much of this video he plays close attention to her bottom, as he tells her how he is going to make her a star - and that she come to his place for supper to finalise the deal, with little doubt what she would have to do in return! It's an interesting bit of dialogue from a UK film from 1933, and as well as seeing Jessie having her backside patted numerous times (and who can blame this chap?) but you get to see an awful lot of Jessie's figure in that see through costume of hers too!

The 2nd video (and 3rd overall) of Jessie Matthews comes from the film Evergreen (1934), where she plays the illegitimate daughter of a music hall star who died abroad, and is spotted by a couple of conmen and persuaded to pretend she is her own mother making a comeback on stage, albeit wearing a grey wig to try and convince people she is older than she actually is. In this clip she is worked through her paces by a couple of women telling her how to move and pose. When one of her poses is deemed less than satisfactory, the woman training her gives her a slap on the backside and says "And that must come out more!" As is par for the course, Jessie wears close fitting clothes, and in one moment when she refuses to go through with it and sits down you get a good outline of what her bum looks like through her frock! You also get to see Jessie dance, and like in the last video you get to see her do her famous high kicks where her legs really DO go over her head! No wonder she was known as the "Dancing Divinity!"

Jessie Matthews' career petered out by the end of the 1930's, though the introduction of the Hayes Code and a scandal involving an affair with Evelyn Laye's husband Sonny Hale didn't help matters for her. She did make a notable appearance years later in Tom Thumb in 1958, but her best films are in the 1930's, and makes you wonder what Pre Code Hollywood would of done with her. She died in 1981, aged 74.
