Nude and topless scenes of Sammi Davis and Amanda Donohoe. The quality is a lot better than the dvd. Now if only they'd release a blu ray of the version with Imogen Stubbs in.

And to think I was planning to look for this to upload on here sometime! Thanks for these. I remember this well. They are some class nude scenes, and the first nude scenes that Sammi Davis ever did. Apparently until then she always refused to do nudity when offered a role, but realised when she was offered the lead in The Rainbow that there was no way of avoiding doing it as it was so integral to the part (You can find out more on that on Wikipedia's article on The Rainbow). Thank goodness she changed her mind, as it would of been a crying shame if she had never done nudity in her career. Much appreciate the uploads - as always!

Thanks for the extra information, Bounci. I'm far to lazy to do the background on my clips.
I wish the makers of the Imogen Stubbs version had realised how integral nudity was to the story. I'm a big fan of Imogen Stubbs's early stuff, and would have loved to see the same quality of nude scenes in her version.

Having just re-viewed the Imogen version, I think I was a bit harsh about it.
There is plenty of nudity. The trouble is it was all shot at night so it's nearly invisible in parts.
