So it would seem that Mod Winston has left the building. I know that he was an avid poster who was always careful to share only material new to OCC. I�m sure his content will be missed and OCC will be a little less original.

However, I appreciated him more as a moderator. We became �friends� after he gave me a two week, well deserved, timeout. Before that I thought him to be arrogant and quick on the trigger. Ultimately I realized that while my assessment was correct - he was also a really nice guy, cared a lot about OCC, and had a well-honed sense of humor. The mods here don�t get paid anything and trying to maintain some order must seem like herding cats at times.

Who knows if he�ll come back again - but for now this seemed like the best place to park a farewell.

I've been in touch with 'Seal and he assured me that he didn't leave for any issues related to moderating or really OCC at all. He has had cancer and it recently returned so he had to move 300 miles to be closer to his doctors and is now focused on defeating it. He said the tough part as far as OCC is concerned is that in the move he found all sorts of CD's and drives with material never seen on our site before. Good luck 'Seal!
