yeah also called sports nickers or sports briefs seen alot in the 80's..girls would wear them under netball skirts or tennis skirts/hockey..
Alot of the girls from my high school wore them under their school uniforms and tartan skirts..so i was use to seeing red/black/navy blue etc...fun times!
