I see that one of the pictures that I posted has been removed on the grounds that it was 'Watermarked'.
The 'watermark' was just the web address of the publisher to which potential buyers were directed if they wished to purchase the calendar thereby benefitting the publishers and the supported charities.
All the pictures were promotional material freely available in the public domain.

My interpretaion of 'Watermarked' has always been a logo which asserts the copyright ownership of the photos. Typically this would be a 'C' followed by the name of the publisher or, more usually, the photographer.

Can any sort of logo now be deemed to be an offending watermark. For example, many charity calendar photos carry the logo of a sponsoring company. Will they now be regarded as 'Watermarked' even though the sponsors aim is to receive as much publicity as possible for their company?

I think some clarification is needed.

3 pics, all Australian but not very exciting ones and several years old.

The first 2 are from a Rowing Club on Sydney's exclusive North Shore and the photographer was the father of the nude girl. The club has a Great bar and a good restaurant, I speak from personal experience not a PR brochure!

The last pic is of the photographer and some of the girls from a shoot in Mt. Isa in remote Queensland - can't find anything out about it. Anyone have any pointers? (No pun intended)
