Something that intrigues me is that most of the pictured women remove their pubic hair - intriguing because a lot of these pics are quite old, and in some cases are of women from primitive tribes where life is unsophisticated and often harsh. We tend to view the comparatively recent trend towards pubic epilation as something new and sophisticated - yet as many of these old photos demonstrate, the practice is far from recent, and many of the adherents were far from sophisticated! The old saying that there is nothing new under the sun comes to mind!

After having been looking at tribal and some islander women for years I thought they were different and didn't have much body hair to start with, it seems strange they would all cut it off

A small note about the most recent pics.
They are posed pics as apposed to other ones earlier in the thread.

Shaving is far more likely in posed pics. We see the same in any porn site (or so I am told

).
