The Great Debate
For my part I look at this thread as a puzzle and a challenge, to match up the various images out there- like sexy sudoku
 . Pretty much everything here was and is in the public domain and as others have pointed out; the reason the ride exists in the first place is to provoke attention. Many dissertations could be (and probably are being) written about the various conceptions of the morality of public nudity, protests and voyeurism in the digital age. I don't mean to sound facetious by wondering if these OCC threads are even potential pathfinders in discussions about defining a common morality amidst this new paradigm of nude protest as instant global phenomenon.I think any adult participating in such an event in this day and age would be deeply naive not to be equipped beforehand with a reasonable idea of what is involved, although some of the recent reports from Hyde Park sound very disturbing, and if I were an organiser I would certainly be pressing for either a greater police presence or pre-ride enclosures, like Brighton has. This may sound surprising, but I personally find little sexual gratification from these images- like a digital version of the public nudist, the nudity becomes the norm after a while and the appreciation of beauty has become (almost!) platonic. Certainly images of distress or upset in this context are of no interest at all to me, and I would invite any ride participants viewing these threads who have been offended by posts here to message me, and I will take remedial action, as do many of the original Flickr users whose work is reposted here. However my final point is about the policy around sexual arousal on the rides, which is so much more difficult to police for females as males on the rides. If a chap gets carried away with the spirit of the day, the evidence is there for all to see; many of the girls, I'm sure, are there as much as anything to have a good time and get away with it. A couple of groups of girls come to mind here who've ridden for several years in London and Brighton, who clearly are there mainly- if not solely- for the attention they get, yet abuse those who are giving it.

I should add I've just been really busy recently, and haven't had time to collate or post anything. My posts here are thanks to everyone who've posted great WNBR content over the years, as I'm so geographically remote from the rides to easily contribute original content.
