At first I had to avoid them too. There was a very aggressive guy there and I was afraid that he was going to punch me in the face. I just hate those guys walking around naked with semi-hard erections hoping that the girls will like them if they act as their "protectors". They are there to see the girls aswell - fucking hypocrites!

A few years ago there were a collection of photos taken, of participants dressed before or after the ride..

Has anyone come across anything similar for the rides this year? Or in fact taken any?

But this is a growing trend. Some of the best WNBR snappers are now either not putting their snaps online at all, or are doing so only to private albums or password protected areas. I personally feel he is claiming. claiming a lot of attention towards himself and how fantastic people ought to regard him. He is however not the one who takes his clothes off, but merely a spectator who takes pictures of the event.

In what way does he have a right to stake a claim to the pictures he takes of the naked people? They are the ones who put themselves in a vulnerable position (and I have the deepest sincerest respect for them for doing so). They want to make a point. The point is: Too many cyclists get killed in traffic, because they are not paid attention to. The other point they want to make is that we need to cut down on fossil fuels. In order to make their point they want to draw attention to themselves and their message by cycling through various cities unclothed.

People who take pictures, such as SL50AZ, should respect their wishes and post as many pictures online as they can and make them available to the world so that the message gets across. As long as they're not doing it, they don't support the cause. Fortunately, there are also photographers such as you, who do get the point of the event.

Perhaps he is watermarking again. Too many people thieve our WNBR pics and claim for themselves. I have now started to do it too!
