Depends. If you just want to post a short story, you're allowed to have up to 10 for free. If you're talking about Interactive Stories, sadly, no. Writing.com changed their policy so that free members no longer have the ability to create Interactive Stories AT ALL. So, if you want to pay, the cheapest is the Basic membership at $20 for a year.

My suggestion is don't bother wasting your money. What is the point in paying them? So you can post stories?

Ultimately it's your choice, but here's something to keep in mind. You start paying for the basic membership and add a few new interactive stories. At the start they get a whole bunch of chapters added. Then they start coming less often until finally it just stops altogether, and then you have more stories you don't know what to do with. It happened to my stories, and it's happened so many other stories as well. It's depressing

Sad but true.The only option now is to cannibalize your stories (not delete them) in order to create a new story. You just need to delete the first chapter(s) and edit the title, description, and stuff. It's a bit more work than creating a new story, but at least you'll have a blank slate.

I think I'm going to wipe out my Tale of Two Sisters story if no one has any interest. I don't think many here have sen it, actually. Here's a link:

It only has 10 chapters, and I'm not sure what to do with it yet. Any suggestions? I'm not particularly confident of my skills in writing an interesting premise or knowing what kinds of chapter options would be enticing for others to add to.

Then that's what I'm going to have to do then. It's a good thing I waited before deleting anything, otherwise I would have been completely screwed.

I have edited Kingdom Hearts ENF to where it is now The Naked Adventures of Sun. It doesn't have much in the descriptions, but anyone who read and wrote in the Forgetful Lilly and June/Mimi stories should already know how her character should be

I've never actually seen that story before, no. I'll take a look, see if I can add anything.

It can be tough starting an Interactive story. I've only done one myself (She Doesn't Know), but I think it helps if the originator adds a few chapters (3 or 4 maybe) to give other writers a taste of what you're aiming for. That's why it took me so long to add something to Naked Gamer Girls - there was only one scene written, I think, so I wasn't sure what the originator was trying to achieve.

As for chapter options... well, just an idea, but maybe add a mild option and a harsh option? So like, if a girl's skirt is caught in a door and she moves away, the options could be it tears a little (mild, allows for delayed gratification) or it tears off completely and is irreparable (harsh, instant gratification).

I'm a little confused by the Two Sisters story. It might just be that Woody guy cocking things up, but it seems like Amber is into exhibitionism and Emily, knowing this, buys her crotchless panties. But when Amber finds out about them, she seems to get really angry about it?

Why a fantasy-themed adult interactive with male/female options and lots of starting points. Yes, all of those 19 chapters are the entry levels, sorry for those who don't like that kind of thing but...par for the coarse on fantasy.

Added some chapters to get the ball rolling. Might add to some of the alternative races too when I get a chance.
