Spent an hour in her house yesterday chatting - started with me going round to check the dividing fence fittings on her side adjacent to both our patio areas.
I am going to replace the decrepit waney lap board panel which her youngster spies through with a more solid panel - which she is very happy about. Removes one 'problem' area re her kids potential to see me in the buff when I am in my patio area. She then advised me of more dates when visitors will be at her house. No mention / objections coming from her at all re her ability to see me around in the buff. Seems her husband has been listening to some of his professional colleagues who have asked him why he doesn't move to a more upmarket area to live in. She has told him she has no intentions of moving since we have 'really good neighbours'. I am very happy to hear the latter on a few levels a). I like her !! b). she is ok with me being around my garden in the buff c). new neighbours may not be so tolerant |

Well, my chillie plants have arrived. Very small plugs - so will have to pot them on & let them grow on a little before I hand a couple over to my neighbour through the hedge gap.
Her 1st visitors are here today until Monday. I await the growth of these plants with some excitement. |

Last night, I started to sort out how to remove waney lap fence panel. She has a trellis screwed to the rear of it, so i emailed her to say I would need to remove it before taking the panel down. She emailed back to say I will open the back gate for you now.
When I got round there, the gate was open and she had vanished back indoors (hubby away at work - 8:30 pm). I suspect she may have been ready for bed and not quite attired as she would wish to be seen - normally she would be around to chat. Drat !! Decrepit waney lap fence panel removed today, rotten wood support replaced, mortared the wall holes where posts were. Await new panels tomorrow to replace old one. She was chatting to me all morning through her kitchen window |

Couple of emails from her over last few days - chatty unimportant stuff and one having a go at her hubby for being a self opinionated git - which is correct. Phone call from her today - asking if I am in the garden - I wondered what she was going to come out with when she said that. She was out for the morning - could I check whether her bathroom window was left wide open to the elements.
All going swimmingly well with no hints of problems with my buff gardening now I have almost sorted the potential for her kids no longer being able to see me (fence panels in will complete that). The lower 4 ft of the hedge gap I have blocked with some of the old panel waney lap pieces - so only she can see through the top part of the gap when I am around in the garden. |

Have you figured out what you're going to do when her husband inevitably finds out what's going on? After all, he is your neighbor. He sure doesn't sound like a guy who will take it well (neither your exhibitionism or his wife's knowledge or "tolerance" of it.
I think that when he realizes that he really can't do much about your habits, he may force his family to move to another neighborhood. He has already expressed his wishes to do so. Either way, it will be very uncomfortable for you, not to mention what he will put his wife through.
