Dear Anime/Manga fans:

This thread has enjoyed great success for many years and has become one of the popular threads on the forum, even though it fits a bit like a square peg in a round hole. Questions about how the rules apply here have been raised since the first post. Recently, Alex and the mods have discussed how to handle some obvious forum rule violations, particularly age, copyrights, rule 10 issues (r a p e, etc.), non-English text, scans of magazines (rule 11), and hardcore photos in a non-hardcore forum.

This thread will remain alive, but it needs a good cleaning, and clearer application of the rules. Therefore:

Violations:

• The watermark/copyright rule (#6) applies. All pictures that violate this rule will be removed. We do this because sharing protected material threatens the forum. Lawsuits and legal threats cost time and money because they are clear violations of the law.
  
• Rule 10 applies; violations will be removed.

  Don't post any illegal (or generally tasteless) material or links to websites with illegal content. (No shemales. No transexuals. No scat. No watersports. No bestiality. No **** etc...)

• Rule 8 applies (no underage material). This will be the toughest to apply, and judgment calls will be necessary.

Exceptions:

• In an effort to keep all Anime/Manga material in one place, hardcore material may be posted here.
  
• Scans from magazines and comics may be posted, so long as they do not display a clear copyright notification. DO NOT crop or remove copyrights and watermarks to circumvent this rule.
  
• Non-English language is permissible in the images, but may not be typed by the poster.

The moderators will temporarily close this thread to ensure that all regular members have an opportunity to read this message. We encourage you to look at past posts and report any rule violations. This will expedite the review of this thread. Finally, going forward, it will be critical to follow these special rules, which will be noted at the beginning of the thread. If they are not followed, the moderators will have to close the thread to all future contributions indefinitely. This happened with one of the other most popular threads on the forum.

Well, no offense, but with some of those rules you might as well just remove the thread. Not allowing non-English text means all manga and a good amount of pics with dialogue cant be posted here anymore.

So pretty much same as before but be wary of underage.
Watermarks are pretty rare especially since most material found is raws
