One of my favorites was a report on a nude beach at one extreme of the Rockaway Beaches. He sent someone out there and they came back with a couple of photos, taken without notice, obviously. ...............................

I was never to that Rockaway Beach, but I recall that beach from a quality nudist documentary VHS tape. Mid-70's? They interviewed a couple people right there on that beach. I remember one girl..... not a raving beauty, but a cutie. She had a such smile on her face while being inerviewed nude..... looked like the happiest moment of her life! Got to love her for that. Was it called Riis Beach??

Riis park is actually in Queens, not Brooklyn. And it was never a "nude beach" Nudity was tolerated on Bay 1, the furthes to the left as you faced the ocean. It is actually federal property, and the local police had no jurisdiction. Then they passed a law allowing local ordinances to apply, and the cops cracked down on the nudity. There had been some complaints of sex on the beach (I witnessed it myself on a number of occasions).
Now, toplessness is common on Bay 1, but not elsewhere on the beach. Discrete nudity sometimes happens during the middle of the week and it is not crowded.
