Going down was scarier because when you take a step, you're stepping in the direction that gravity wants to take you, and you feel like you're falling. Going up is less dangerous because you're putting your weight in to the cliff, making you feel a little more secure. But it's extremely exhausting. I barely survived 20 year ago and couldn't even think about doing it today.

I use to live in Del Mar and have gone down that trail a few times... every summer someone gets messed up... but its worth the risk lol
