Default Could have been a disaster!

Anyone else had a similar experience to this? I've recently had my camera stolen by some little pikey. Thing is, apart from being pissed at the expense and inconvenience, it wasn't that long ago that my wife and I had a rather passionate night with it. Taking pics of each other and making little videos. Wife obviously panicked until I said I'd recently deleted all the pics. Which I had, a few days before. In fact I'd done the same to all my memory cards. However, being well aware that there is software to recover such things I was quietly having a melt down. Had to wait until she was at work two days later to go through all my other cards, recovering files to work out which one I'd put back in.

Luckily for me, I found the incriminating card and eventually worked out that the card that was in there was the one I usually had in my SLR camera and was full of 'arty, boring' photos from a photography group I go to.

Now I can relax.

Default so far so good...

This is a hazard we all face at some stage. I try to keep cards separate and not leave them in the camera.
If I'm away and know I might take some risque pics I keep the card in my wallet, especially if we're staying with her family!
Then there's the backing up and encrypting, but we can all get careless at times.
I find that having family to come and stay is a good incentive to tidy up and reformat cards etc.

Happened years ago when i was with my ex. House got robbed. Camera, camcorder, and computer gone. They got it all. There was a lot of stuff.

Magically, have not seen any of it appear online.

Not to speak for Yorkie, but if my family "accidentally" saw my wife naked, that would be the end of nude photos for me. I would either delete everything I had or my wife would kill me. So I can empathize with his fear.

We have to thank our lucky stars that thieves are generally opportunistic and after a few quid and not filthy perverts like us Steel - Sell, very little intersection with the device.

Saying that when my house was broken into last summer (while I was out the country on holiday) my neighbour (a police man) called me to say he'd been round the house to do a room check and apologised for not managing to do it before the mother in law had been in to clean up..."Why's that" I said "well, she had to tide up your 80's porn collection that was thrown all over the bedroom" God knows what she saw as when I got home, sure enough it was all titled onto a nice neat little pile at the side of our bed along with any actual risqué photos that were in my stash too...

I found a portable HDD once and ran said recover software. A number of, ahem, interesting pics came back. What was worse for the person is that it also returned a number of documents and other information that made it trivial to track down who the person really was. I'll never bother them, but it makes it a little hotter.

There were quite a few normal pics of this lady

Thank you for giving me a new fantasy. Or, at least, a new sub-section. As I already admitted here, I have this odd fantasy that my lady's nudes could be leaked to the world and it not be my fault in any way.

Up to this thread, I had been thinking of things like she leaving the 'stash' drive unencrypted before we had some visitors, one of whom had to use the computer for something and voila he finds them.

Or the old reliable, she takes a naked selfie whilst away for work but accidentally sends it to someone other than me.

I had also thought about us perhaps forgetting to bring home our camera from holiday (where she always poses for loads of photos) and it being full of naughty pics for whatever hotel staff member found it. That, at worst, would be both our faults. Better still, if she was the one tasked with packing it and left it behind.

However, this is a new angle. So our camera (or camera card perhaps) gets stolen and she asks me "Did you delete the most recent set of sex pics?" "Yes" I reply and it's the truth. I genuinely did.

However, the nefarious thief knows about file recovery software and discovers them anyway.

Not my fault!

Certain friends maybe, but for me, family seeing them would be more trouble than any thrill that it would bring. Most are prudish and if they told her (as they probably would), they days of letting me take photos of her would probably be over.

Default Purchased used

Last night my girlfriend tells me that she bought a mini sd card for her new smart phone. She bought it on the street from some guy who was trying to sell it cheap.

After taking it home, she found that it was used. had lots of music, photos and videos of the couple having sex. She told me that it turned her on so much that she masturbated and came 4 times.

I asked if I could see the photos and videos and she said... I was afraid that my daughter would see them and deleted them already. sorry.

I am going to try the recovery software trick when I see her tomorrow. Cross your fingers that I can recover this stuff and if all goes well, I will post it here.
