[Request] Thoughts on Nudes a Popping

I hope that I am posting this in the right place. If not I am sorry.

Anyway I was in college during the 90s. It is a long story. But to try to keep it short. I ended up at nudes a popping with a small group of friends. During the event I was the only one in my group to get nude. I had a lot of strange feelings about it. I started out embarrassed and scared and ended up enjoying the attention. I wasn't really sure what I was getting into when I agreed to go.

When one of my friends started talking about the event I was certain that he was making it up. But he kept on going on about it. It finally came to the point that I said I would love to attend and walk around naked all day. I did not really mean this. That pretty much got my core group of friends committed to attending with me.

We were one of the first cars let in and found a corner spot in the back of the event area. With a little peer pressure and reassurance from one of the event staff that it was ok to be nude in the crowd I got naked. I was really hoping that the event person would have told us no but she did not.

After a short while one of my friends pulled out a camera and said that he needed to get some pictures of me. I almost died at this point. Nowhere in any of my thoughts about this did I think about photos. After some more peer pressure and making my friend promise to keep the photos private and not give copies to anyone. I let him take some pictures. It started with him just taking pictures of me. Then my friends wanted their picture taken with me. Before I knew it there was a whole line of guys with cameras taking photos and people who I did not know asking if they could have their picture taken with me. I didn't know how to say no so I let them. i pretty much though well I don't know them so it does not matter and it was fun being the center of attention.

This pretty much happened through out the day. One person would ask or sometimes not ask and then start taking pictures. This would then cause a group of people with cameras to appear and spend 5 to 10 minutes taking photos.

This was back in the 90s. Back then it was rare for me to see anyone with a camera let alone wanting to take my picture. At the end of the day my friend told me that he went through over 25 rolls of 36 exposure films. He told me about 10 rolls were dedicated to me. He told me it would be awhile before I would be able to see any as he needed to save money to get them all developed. I told him that I never really wanted to see them and that it would be great if he kept his promise to keep them private. To the best of my knowledge he never shared them. A few of my friends were upset that they never got to see them but I was happy.

After the event was through I started to think about it. My friend had over 360 photos of me. With all of the other people with cameras and how aggressive they were about taking photos there had to have been 3000 plus photos of me taken that day. If my guess was right that would be way more then the number of photos of me taken during my entire life. At that point in time I though it was kind of fun. I really could not believe how many people wanted my picture.

Over the years I have though back on it. I cannot believe how things have changed with the internet. Every now and again I do image searches looking for photos of me. I am not really sure how I will feel if I see any of me. Please understand I am not posting this in hopes that people will start to post or send me old photos asking if it is me. I will never tell anyone one way or another. I have lost track of my college friends and to be honest I have gained a lot of weight and changed my hair style since college. I do not think anyone in my current life would be able to identify me from a picture back then. But I still look back on the whole experience with a lot of mixed feelings. Most are good feelings.

I ended up at Nudes a Popping because I was fairly certain that my friend was making the whole thing up and I kind of teased him on without knowing what the event really was. That was back in a different time. If I were in college now I don't think I would have gotten nude for fear of the photo becoming a world wide favorite. I also think it would be kind of fun to go back. But again there is no way I would want to get naked today. I am also sure that the crowed would want a younger college girl anyway.

As far as me listing this as a request. A have a few questions if anyone would like to comment. I see that Nudes a Popping is still going on and that there are photos of people in the crowd. Do photographers still aggressively chase the girls in the crowd? At one point I had people all around me and security came and chased them away. Do they still do this?

Do you think anyone that is nude in the crowd got there without know too much about the event and just decided to go for it? Or are the people in the crowd current and former dancers who really are use to being nude in front of others? My experience was pretty intense. I remember it very well. I cannot believe how intense it would feel to be of college age now and attending the event knowing that all the photos and videos would be on the internet and most likely tagged back to me. Like I said above I do not think I could do it now.

If you have taken photos at nudes a Popping during the per-internet film days what did or are you going to do with the photos? What do you think will happen to old or for that matter digital photos? Do most of them just fade from existence? Again I am not asking anyone to help me find photos. I just have mixed feelings that I have never seen any of me. A few times I have thought about trying to locate my friend who took the photos. But every time I decided against it.

I've been to NAP twice, but just the last 2 years. Nowadays I don't see anyone being photographed that doesn't want to be - there are lots of cameras around, and some people ask explicitly while others are quiet, but I haven't seen anyone getting shot who didn't want to - everyone is pretty polite now, knowing that they can shoot someone else and they don't want to either get kicked out or ruin the atmosphere.

I didn't see anyone nude who didn't want to be, or who was surprised by the attention. Some were excited, some were bored, but I didn't see anyone try to run away or duck behind a boyfriend or seem upset in any way.

I went with my girl and her friend, and the friend stripped down and has already appeared herein other people's shots - she's definitely not a stripper, but she's an exhibitionist and loved the attention! She got very horny later and I even benefited from that Both of these girls are keepers!

I'm not saying that no-one has had a bad experience there, but I think that it's not common nowadays, and I hope that's been true for some time.

I would LOVE to see your pics, or any from former years. I hope your memories were mostly good, and still get you going, but thank you for sharing your thoughts here either way!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As I am getting older I am starting to reflect back on the fun that I had during my college years. Those were great times. Due to some things that are happening in my life right now I am spending a lot of time remember the good old days.

Nudes a Popping was a great unexpected adventurer. Deep down I put myself into the situation and enjoyed it. Right up until we arrived I did not really believe the event was what my friend said it was. I told everyone that I would get nude but did not really think that the event would allow it. There were a lot of mixed emotions about actually doing it. But I wanted to and did do it. I was also surprised by the cameras. It took awhile to get use to but that was also fun. Just really unexpected. There was one point that I had photographers completely surrounding me with more pushing to get close. That is where security pushed them back and told them not to get that close. Truthfully at that point i was pretty comfortable with the photography and kind of liked the close attention. I am not sure what made security push them back. I never asked my friends if they said something. I think they may have been worried about the photographers pushing one another. I never felt unsafe. As I said that was one of the funner moments.

One of the reasons that I asked my questions was to find out how things are today. Back then I was able to go through with being nude for a day and let anyone photograph me. I just wonder how I would feel if I were a college girl today. I don't know if I could do it now.

I posed nude a lot for my camera friend during our last year together at college. I developed a real trust with him. I really enjoyed running around naked and having my photo taken. It was a very exciting time. I also told him that I never wanted to see any of the photos. I was never interested in seeing them and i really did not want them handed out to the people I know. As far as I know he never gave any to anyone. It my be weird but I don't really care if strangers see them. I just never wanted them to get back to most people that i know. That is why i kind of wonder what happened to all of the old photos that my friend took and those taken by the other photographers. I am not really that worried about it as i don't think anyone today would recognize me from old photos.

I wish that I could relive those experiences. But with today's internet iI don't really see my self getting naked at nudes a popping. I really admire the people with enough confidence to be photographed knowing that the photos will end up online.

If I were a college girl today and ended up at nudes a popping without knowing about the cameras before hand I would just completely freakout with fear and melt down. Back then having people want to photograph me was a great turn on.

So I have to say that yes my time a nudes a popping was great. I am just sad that I cannot do it again.

Do you think you could recapture some of that feeling, and spice up your current situation, if you had someone taking pictures of you again? Even if it's not in a crowd, perhaps the attention and validation would re-awaken those memories...

I really miss my college friend. He had a way to get me into really intense situations but they always turned out safe. I lost track of him after he graduated. I am sure that he has moved on. My current relationship is ending but it is for the best. I would like to be the center of attention again and be photographed. I just don't know how to establish that relationship. We really had a strange but great relationship back then.

I know that he really enjoyed getting me into situations. I am not really sure why he never tried to bring our relationship past that. I wanted it but it never happened. Maybe he did not want to mess up a great thing.

I believe we know your feelings as many others have probably experienced. Way back when we went the first few times I believe it wa a Hustler affair. We remember Larry Flint and and many of the Hustler models being there. I believe one gal was called Cherry Pie or something like that. It seemed more like a porn affair than the nudist park things we were used to but we did have a good time. My wife loved getting naked and the more attention the better she loved it in those days. Well, even today! But I don't really remember cameras except for the professioal crews.
We did attend again in the late 80's and 90's. Maybe when you were there. At those times seemed like everyone was taking pictures.
We attended bike events in and around Daytona from 1995 thru a few years ago. It's going on now and we can no longer walk enough to enjoy. But even in the 90's not a lot of people took pictures and most were nice enough to ask. Recently everyone with a cell phone is taking pictures and few bother to ask. In fact my wife has made people mad when she complained about them taking pictures and refusing more. This has happened in places like the Florida Keys and New Orleans where semi nudity is sometimes displayed. Every two year old has a cell camera aimed at tits.
And yes we've wondered about the thousands of pictures taken of my wife since the early 60's. Where are they? I know ours have been destroyed over the years. Perhaps they all have. Like you, she has changed since then and only I would recognize her. Dollie looked much like the costar in Deep Throut with her same movie name. For years people actually thought my wife played that part.

Model T thanks for sharing your experiences with me. It is great to hear that your wife and I am assuming you still enjoy the attention that events like this can bring. It has been over 20 years since I have done anything like this. I sort of accidentally got myself started at Nudes a Popping and then did a few more exciting things. But that was all during college. I have been living a fairly conservative life since then and have not thought alot about it until now. I was hoping that more people would be willing to share their thoughts. Times were different and I am sure I thought differently when I was younger. I am just curious what experiences and feelings others have had both back in the day and now.
