the future of Flickr?

For those struggling with removal of navigation functionality from the new flickr, i just wanted to share some tips. Most of you probably already figured this out, but for those that haven't yet:

In Sets, if you type "detail" at the end of the url, it brings up the medium size pics, 18 pics to a page view. If you don't want to type in the url, you can hit the comment bubble as soon as the sets page starts loading and then click "detail" and it takes you to the same place.

To be able to view your own photostream, hit the "Edit" button and it will take you to a medium size pic, 18 pics to a page view.

Groups for whatever reason, have full viewing functionality still there. You can choose to view in small, medium, or large thumbnails in addition to the wretched "justified", same as always. Don't know if this is a "bug" or what.

Still haven't figured out how to view "Contacts" picture page, anybody else's Photostream, or Favorites in a way that isn't nauseating. If anybody has any insight, please share.

It's a bit more tedious (though when you've done it once, you can bookmark that version), but for individual photostreams (including one's own, though your suggestion there is easier), the workaround is to add " ?details=1 " to the end of that url; dunno if that also works in contacts or faves; incidentally, the choice of sizes for groups didn't seem to exist at rollout: it's one of what appear to be a few changes, sort of real reversion, that have quietly been made in the last few days...the one benefit I found, which I referred to in an E&V post that many may not have seen, is that the increase in storage space had made many pictures in non-pro accounts, which had been restricted to displaying the 200 most recent pictures (while not deleting the older ones over 200), have emerged from that limbo; here, a few examples:

Has anybody been able to search photos the old way? My computer jambs up from trying to upload all those photos. I think they really blew it this time. So much for progress.

After months now of my ability to use Flickr hobbled by the "upgrade", I'm going to ask here once again if anyone knows how to reduce the size of thumbnails in photo *Groups*. My ancient computer (I'm on a low fixed Disability income) jams as soon as all the HUGE images start loading. Please.

The advice about adding ?details=1 after our photostreams works perfectly, thanks very much to Crispus. (ref to Crispus Attucks?)
