Yesterday, I was as also curious as to why Emma Heart Glasses had that big black map of Texas painted on her back, and within just a few minutes, using free search tools, available to anyone, I was able to find out way more about this young woman, and her life, than any total stranger should be able to. And, to be honest, decided to think for a day about posting any of it.

And for the sake of her husband and two young children, I think it best to limit myself to saying that she is from the home of the Alamo, San Antonio, in the Lone Star State of Texas. And she lives in the UK because her husband works there.

If nothing else this should be a cautionary tale for all of us in this new digital age. If you are going to appear in public in your birthday suit you, probably, shouldn't make it so easy for the thousands of people who take your picture, and the possibly millions more who will see it, to find out who you are, where you live, where you went to school, where your spouse works etc. etc. etc. It's just not smart.

Obviously, this attractive young woman likes attention, and she had a blast participating in the London WNBR, and more power to her for that. And we all can share in the fun and enjoy the pictures she very willingly let thousands of strangers take. But....she and her family have a life to live after this, and, as evidenced by some of the pervs and whack jobs near Hyde Park last Saturday, there are a lot of crazies out there who can take things way too far.

When it comes to pictures of non-celebrities in events like this, general information like home cities and, even first names, are OK, but any more specific information than that can cause problems that no one wants to think about. And, when it comes to riding around in the raw, literally, for all the world to see, common sense should dictate that a certain level of anonymity, and respect for a reasonable level of personal privacy is in everybody's interest, and good common sense should prevail.

So, we already knew they grew some fine young women in Texas, and now we have all kinds of pictures of one daughter of the Lone Star State happily parading in her birthday suit for the city crowds in London. And that should be "enough" for strangers to know, or care about.
