getting naked in NYC/central park

A while back, I started putting together a folder containing all of the random and not so random acts of nudity and toplessness on the streets of NYC and in Central Park. It hold a certain fascination - that the worlds greatest city (sorry, it is...) allows toplessness. Its fascinating because NYC is a global trendsetter in culture and fashion, and what goes on there can easily spread around the globe. Anyway, I know that in European cities, toplessness can routinely be found in parks, etc. so NYC is not exceptionally liberal there. But in the US, its something to celebrate. I mean, in LA, you just can't get away with this type of thing nowadays..and in SF, well, SF is another planet.....

Anyway, so to start things off, here are some links to OCC and elsewhere to direct you to some pics on the subject. I'll try not to repost much of this. I mean, mainly in this thread it would be cool to just focus on the random acts of nudity rather than the better known, more organized stuff (Sure, NYC has a WNBR, for example). So, but there continues to be sporadic outbreaks of toplessness and even nudity in NYC and Central Park. Surely, there is the more exhibitionist NIP type stuff happening all the time. But along with that are the true pioneers - those that get topless and stay topless - stroll, eat, lounge in the park, etc. I would like to put them all here and also make this a sort of gateway to all manner of naked in NYC pics. So, to start, here are three pics taken back in Feb 2012 of a streaker at "fashion week" in Lincoln Center. The streaker turned out to be a model promoting the event, but anyway....

incidently, the "outdoor coed topless pulp fiction appreciation society" thread only contains about 40 pics. i know there are a lot more pics out there. These are super sexy photos - great quality and with an eye for publicity. If there are more pics in other threads (and there probably are), it would be great to get these all under one roof. and reposting from Karl Malone and the topless occupy wall street thread. We're featuring two women here. The first decided to get naked as part of a "Science project". The second (and there are more pics still) is an occupy wall street protester who also happened to just walk around the city a bit topless in addition to protesting.

Also, check out the two non-OCC links in my first post, both posted originally by Karl Malone, for more pics in this vein. They're definitely worth it but all are copyrighted.

And here is another source of great pics that some may not be aware of: its from Allen Tannenbaum's "NY in the '70's". i don't have a link off hand, but I'm looking. Allen has published some superb photos showcasing public nudity in NYC in the 1970's. I have about 80 pics and they are real fav's of mine. But even though they do not bear copyrights, I'm not sure about putting them up at this time. Most are black and white and they are from various events, both indoors and outdoors. A must for the collector....
