Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Battle of Puebla, when outnumbered Mexican troops defeated the French.

Just as champagne comes from Champagne, tequila (made from blue agave) is produced in Tequila,

That day is unofficially Repeal Day, when Prohibition ended and America's constitutional right to imbibe was restored. We'll drink to that.
