Makes me think of attempts to run gypsies out of town, just means more gypsies in other places, or in one case that someone told me about, the King of the gypsies getting on his mobile and turning said town into a gypsy city.

Have to disagree with you.
If you're with family and kids, you can go to the Campsite and the family section of the beach.

If you want to Swing, you go out later at night and stay well segregated on the Swingers' Section of the beach.

2 Separate worlds. Simple as that.

When I was there, a couple of pre-teen boys came running round the Swinger's Section of the beach (where I was - obviously ) and they were immediately shooed away by the local French swingers. It was clear that the boys were interested in having "a quick look" and quite rightly they never got their chance.

I did say that 'others will disagree', and the unwritten inference was that 'to each their own'. The problem I have with Agde is that it 'infects' the public's perception of naturism, by still being regarded as a naturist place, while swingers sort of dominate the public's perception of it, and by extension all of naturism.

There's also the inference that families are somehow subjected to a kind of curfew in order to avoid the swingers. Personally, I wish they, the swingers, were run out of town, or else the proper naturists abandoned Agde to the swingers and went elsewhere. Elsewhere, incidentally, attempts to gain a swinging foothold in other naturist locations have spectacularly failed, so maybe we're at a point where naturism and swinging can be viewed as two distinct camps, and furthermore, seen as such by the general public.

Cap DÁgde is not really user friendly in the family orientated way when you consider that during a trip to the supermarket one will be confronted with ads for Swingers Clubs and dodgy lingerie shops.

Not a place I'd take children to.

Definately a place I want to visit again next summer.

Thanks for the links. Youtube must be getting lax in enforcing their no nudity policy because I just found a bunch of Cap D' Agde videos (some are just picture slideshows).
