Was it worth it? I think, for this gal, $50 should have included the pictures and at least a blowjob in one of the private rooms or your car. Of course I live in an area with a relatively low cost of living. Using nationally gathered data here is the relative value of your $50 in today's dollars.

Cha Cha reports that today a prostitute costs between $300 and $1500 with pricing determined by the sex worker. As of 2006, according to the department of justice, a blowjob cost $20 to $50. I believe Cha Cha's numbers are too inflated, and incomplete without the range of services for prostitution. Given the rates of prostitutes using drugs and the state of the US economy, drugs being a flexible commodity dependent on supply/demand, the price may actually be lower. Assuming an average of $35 your $50, in 2006 dollars, $36 was valued at $24.36 for a blowjob in 1992. Given a fair negotiation you could have done much better.
