Okay, assuming I am right (and I'm pretty sure), here's another. Name the building and the city.

Since it's been some time, though, here goes; I based the guess on examples like those I here illustrate, tagged at flickr as being of Hippie Hollow, of the two (secondarily?) salient features of the original pictures: the railing in the first, and the distinctive hillscape with rock outcrops, seen in the background of the second. Assuming that satisfies, then for my next feat I'll try to avoid the pattern I seem to have fallen into so many times here, of if not killing a thread, at least putting it onto life support, by positing a pretty easy one for those of you who've been able to solve ones as tough as some of those on earlier pages:

Gratified as I was to find my suggestion for relocating this thread so quickly accommodated, I must admit I imagined that it would take place only AFTER someone (anyone?) had responded with a post here; instead, it arrived pretty far down the chain, based on its most recent post before the move. Thus, ostensibly to give you a hint in case that's required, but as much to bump it at least once into the prominence necessary to get it going, here's a picture from not too far away from the city of the quizpic, and a hint for solving the latter: it features his most famous horizontal erection, so to coin a phrase : "Igitur Gaudi-amus!"
