Ok, let me back up a bit. Harvey Drouillard is a photographer who is known for getting small groups of people naked in public around the US. He then takes their pic, most of which end up in a book rather than on the internet. If you Google him, you will get mostly small images likely because the bigger ones are for a price only. But now, like Spencer Tunick and others, not only can you find pics taken BY him, but also pics taken by passerbys and other spectators. The latter do not go in his book and are available in much better quality.

Anyway, below is such a pic. Now I searched OCC for Harvey Drouillard and there is only scant mention of him in this thread and nowhere else. Likely, this pic has been posted to OCC, but probably not identifiable as being from a Harvely Drouillard shoot. And I could not put my hands on it in my files. So.....a thanks from guys like Crispus will tell me he has not seen it, but I suspect that he has. I recognize it too, but don't recall the Drouillard link.

And as another aside, Harvey actually dropped into OCC one day long enough to drop me a pm. But I don't have it any longer and don't really recall the contents. That plus the relative lack of pics and info I can bring up by searching OCC now makes me want to consider devoting a thread to him......if only there were more and better pics!!

But i am surprised that searching OCC for "Drouillard" only turns up this one thread. Thats because I seem to remember there was more discussion about him here. Anyway, his book is called "the Spirit of Lady Godiva" and they do not want those small B&W pics reposted on the net.....so.....maybe, JUST MAYBE........did we post them once and HARVEY STOPPED BY TO ASK THE MODS TO REMOVE THEM???? Is that why I can't find them now???

I don't ever remember there being a thread like that or about this guy.

AFAIK, he's never requested anything removed, but then again, I'm not privy to all removal requests...

interesting....

I seem to have four of those small B&W Drouillard pics that I downloaded from OCC on 2/21/09. So they are or were here, and the only question is what would I search on to bring them up?

It appears as though Harvey only shoots in Black and White. At least the only color pics I have seen were apparently taken by passerbys at one of his shoots. This means a really hi quality, color pic of one of his shoots is a very rare commodity indeed. I wonder how many such pics are lurking on the net, at facebook or elsewhere? Worth a look..

In the meantime, if you go to his facebook page, you will find these pics below which I had not seen before. As Harvey Drouillard pics go, they are pretty darn good! I'll take what I can get...

Another person who might have some insight into the mystery of the other vanishing pics would be Karl Malone...this stuff is right up his alley...

K et al.: I've seen it; in fact it was in a rather well-received post about a year ago in this very thread, where the one below and the one you posted appeared in the biggest size I found: https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...postcount=1341 . Interestingly, there wasn't a Drouillard connection, but the picture was in profrob64's stream, and it was apparently from '07. His current stream only has 163 pictures, dating back only to this April, but these two are still at flickr, each when called up saying "oldest photo," which is what happens with someone who doesn't have a pro account (or had one that lapsed)...in theory at least, establishing or renewing the pro status could conceivably uncover a stash of others from the same event...just sayin'. As for other Drouillards, I know you and I went post-exchanging a few pictures/info-bits in the dim mists of distant time, but I'm pretty sure that for either of us it was more than 500 posts back, and therefore not readily retrievable by simple search; I'll check a bit more deeply...

good - it was tagged with "Godiva parade....etc" but not Harvey or Drouillard. At least I was able to add a bit to the story, if not put up a new pic. This dang thread is so big I don't have a clue as to half of whats here!!
