does anyone know of a program that can find hidden extensions on a website. A simple homemade website, not a major or professional one. I have a friend who told me she has some hidden files on her website and I am trying to find them. Any help is appreciated.

you could end up downloading a virus if you play about. PLUS, you could be tracked.

This sounds like it is borderline hacking and could easily be abused.
