Anyone been to V in Düsseldorf recently?
Is it worth it?

Have only been to TE once so my experience may not be typical but I found that most people at TE kept covered on loungers. Maybe things are different in the warmer months as I attended on a 72 degree day in April but still, I was surprised that most people remained in robes while lounging.

As such, I think you best spot will be at the exit/entrance to the pool as you’ll be able to see them coming and going. That said, there is a lovely sauna directly across from the pool entrance/exit that is perfect for viewing and won’t cost you anything

I plan on going next month.

Will hopefully be warm and sunny so hoping to see some great sunbathing sights.

I've found in the hot summer months that the sauna are used much less

Is E still the best place to go near Rotterdam? Can anyone share any recent experiences?

E is quite far out. I went to HT on the outskirts which was excellent and not at all like the google reviews

They have a vast outdoor area perfect for sunbathing.

What looked interesting to me in the area is Bergenstock. It also has what looks like an amazing view. Also the Hotel Rossli looks nice. They also welcome guests who are external to the hotel. Both of these are textile-free and mixed. Remember, to paraphrase a famous actor, saunas are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. Even a place that one knows may be having an off day when you're there.

Yes Fitnesspark National Lucerne is a disappointment for mixed. They have great single gender saunas. There is one mixed. At various times there were 2 women and 7 men, 3 and 6, etc. and a couple of the women kept towels on mostly.
